The 2011 Elephant Managers Association Conference will be hosted by Monroe County's Seneca Park Zoo.
When: Thursday, October 6 through Sunday, October 9, 2011
Details: The Rosamond Gifford Zoo in Syracuse, NY, will be co-hosting a day (Sunday, October 9) for attendees to tour their new facility. This year’s pre-trip will be held atAfrican Lion Safari in Ontario, Canada, on Wednesday, October 5, 2011. Please note: All interested in traveling to Canada MUST have a valid passport.

CALL FOR PAPERS
The 2011 EMA Conference will focus on the challenges, experiences and achievements of successful captive management programs. The program organizers are seeking presentations on a variety of topics related to elephant management in a wide range of settings. Presentations on all aspects of elephants, including issues related to elephant conservation in range countries, will be considered. Click here to download a form.
